Due to Inclement Weather

We are so grateful to our friends at The Music Hall for partnering with us to make this location change possible.

Table, blanket, and Best Seat in the House reservations will have reserved, assigned seating on the main floor. Please enter the left doors at the Music Hall with an electronic copy of your email confirmation OR a print out of the confirmation.

If you’ve already made a General Admission Donation, you are guaranteed general admission entry based on the number of GA donations you made. Please note you will not have an assigned seat, but will select an available seat upon entry. You will need an electronic copy of your confirmation email OR a print out. 

If you have not made a General Admission Donation, but want to attend the performanceplease do so on the Arts Festival website now to ensure you have a seat at the show. We will leave GA donations open on our website until 5:45pm. After 5:45pm, we will transition to walk up only until we reach capacity. 

If we should reach capacity prior to 5:45pm, we will announce on our website and on social media. 

Doors open at 6pm.

COVID-19 Precautions 

Following the current CDC and City of Portsmouth guidelines, social distancing and mask wearing are encouraged but not required. If you are not feeling well, please stay home. Please be mindful this will be a crowded event, we strongly recommend and encourage mask wearing for those that are high risk, especially for the unvaccinated. We also fully support mask wearing for those that are simply more comfortable wearing them in large crowds, especially indoors.

The Music Hall will have a selection of snacks and beverages available to patrons. Unfortunately, we will not transfer the full menu from the Prop over to the Historic Theater. Please prepare accordingly and thanks for your understanding.


We will have Allen Stone merchandise and select Arts Festival swag for purchase at The Music Hall. It will be sold on the first floor level of the Historic Theater.

General Inclement Weather Policy

Weather can be very dangerous to outside events (metal scaffolding, slippery surfaces, an electrical sound system and microphones) and occasionally we have to cancel a show. In case of inclement weather, we will make every effort to perform, including in light rain. We may delay the performance to allow weather to pass.

A decision to cancel will be made on the day of the show. When we have to cancel an event, we will post a notice on the homepage of our web site (, as well as our Facebook and Instagram accounts. Please check the website or social media before coming down to the park for an event.

In certain cases, we may move to a back-up location when possible. Blanket and Table reservations and General Admission Donations made in advance will be seated first. Then it will be first come first served as there is limited capacity.

Thank you for your understanding.  We can’t control the weather- even in show business!

Please note that all table/blanket reservations and general admission donations are non-refundable. In the event of cancelation because of weather, your reservation may be transferred to another event of the same kind (concert for concert, musical for musical) in the 2022 season. If you pre-ordered delicious food from Ohana or The Rosa, don’t worry! Your order will simply move to your rescheduled show of choice.
