34th Annual WOKQ Chowder Festival

Our annual Chowder Festival offers some of the best Chowder the Seacoast has to offer. Each year, more than 4,000 people help kick off the Prescott Park Arts Festival summer season by enjoying more than 500 gallons of piping hot chowder served up for tasting.

14th Annual Fairy House Tour

The Portsmouth Fairy House Tour is the world's largest fairy house tour. The 14th annual event will be held in Portsmouth's historic South End on the grounds of the Governor John Langdon House, Strawbery Banke Museum, and Prescott Park.

You'll meet and you'll greet, and be swept off your feet! Meet the cast of Seussical the Musical before catching a show at our Seuss-A-Palooza! We'll have carnival games, crafts, stories and more.  Kids (and parents too) can make their own truffula trees, catch one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish, and pin the Hat on the Cat. There'll be face painting, a bubble machine, and a story corner. Lunch, courtesy of Dos Amigos, is included. Following the Seuss-A-Palooza, you'll enjoy our matinee presentation of Seussical the Musical at 1pm from a reserved prime-viewing area on the lawn.

The Memorial Bridge 5k Road Race is a collaborative effort between Prescott Park Arts Festival and Seacoast Community School, followed by the 29th Annual Chili Cook Off!

The 29th Annual WHEB Chili Cook-off!

On Sunday, October 7th, come and enjoy the generous samplings of more than a dozen local restaurants and experience one of the best Chili Cook-Off events around. Restaurants serve up their best chili in decorated booths for thousands of attendees to sample and cast their votes. We've seen Classic, Veggie, Chicken, Seafood... you name it, and we've got it!

10th Annual New Hampshire Brewfest

Sample some of the finest craft beers, enjoy great food and music, and support the Prescott Park Arts Festival! Held on the grounds of beautiful Cisco Brewers Portsmouth, formerly Redhook Brewing, this event is being presented as a special fundraiser for the Prescott Park Arts Festival in partnership with Master Brewers Association of America and WHEB's The Morning Buzz.

Prescott Park Arts Festival is proud to present Drag Queen Story Hour with Portsmouth’s own Bunny Wonderland!

Join us for a morning of stories, music, and creativity. Bunny Wonderland will read two of her favorite books highlighting inclusion and diversity. We’ll also get crafty and have a chance to get on your feet and dance! This event is geared towards ages 2-8, but all ages are welcome.
