Friend Andrea, stage name of Andrea Szirbik Groft, is a singer-songwriter based in Berwick, Maine who builds community through music. Through original songs, interactive music, storytelling, and the songwriting process, she encourages creativity and connection in a way that feels more like friendship than performance.

SONG SPARKS with Friend Andrea is a joyful, high-energy music program with plenty of dancing, movement, and audience participation that builds community and shows kids that they can write songs too! Andrea’s original songs offer big messages for small humans- embracing creativity, showing kindness, and facing challenges- while inviting the group to participate in the
songwriting process along the way. 

What to expect:

• Songs to move & dance to (shakers, scarves)
• Songs to participate in (shouting out lyric suggestions, moving to act out stories)
• Tiny moments of “breaking down” what goes into creating a song using language kids
  can understand
• Applying what we learn about songwriting to start a song together on the spot, which may become part of the Friend Andrea Collab project, where co-created songs are sometimes recorded and shared later in live performances or recordings 🙂

This program is a great fit for children ages 4-9 and their families, but older or younger children who are interested in participating are welcome too!

Reservations

Table and blanket reservations are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another available date in the 2026 season.

Please Note: General Admission Donations do not include reserved seating. This is a way to make your gate donation in advance.

Table reservations seat four. 

Blanket reservations are placed in the blankets-only area of lawn and do not allow for chair placement. Blankets are roughly 5′ x 5′, comfortably fitting 2 adults and 1 child.
