Name: Paul McKeon
Company: B2W Software
Role: CEO

This is B2W Software’s 2nd season as the sponsor of the VIP Seating Area – a highlight of
many who set up camp at PPAF’s summer concert series!

What initially made you want to support the Festival?
B2W supports a broad range of causes in the community, many of which relate to arts and entertainment. It’s important for companies like B2W to invest in the support and advancement of things that bring great value and enjoyment to the community. PPAF fits very well into that objective.

What’s the importance to the community of an organization like PPAF?
The team at Prescott Park has done a terrific job assembling an interesting range of high-quality performances on an annual basis. To have that, at a venue in the heart of historic downtown Portsmouth, and on the waterfront, is a gift that enriches our culture.

How does your business benefit from partnering with a community facing organization like PPAF?
It’s important to our employees to know that B2W invests significantly in our community. We have a phenomenal team and they are proud to be part of an organization where philanthropy and giving back is at the core of our business values.

What’s your earliest recollection of attending a PPAF event? What’s your favorite PPAF memory/event?
I’ve been attending the Festival since 2002/2003. I fondly remember regularly walking down with my kids to partake in the musical. My kids (and I!) were always mesmerized by those theatre experiences… In recent years I’ve attended many memorable concerts and am continually amazed at the world class talent that continues to visit PPAF’s hallowed grounds. Iron & Wine and Michael Franti are two that really stand out in my mind. The Franti show, in particular, was the perfect demonstration of what the Festival is all about and what it brings to the Seacoast; energy, fantastic, inspired music, and a palpable feeling of community. Everyone was happy, everyone was dancing, the weather was perfect; even the artist got a chance to experience all that we love about our little part of the world. At that Franti concert, I actually ended up becoming separated in the crowd from my friends with whom I went to the show… The reason I mention it is because it wound up being an “ah-ha” moment for me as I made new friends with complete strangers and had a GREAT time. Again, this is what it’s all about… Experiences like these are why B2W supports the Festival year in and year out.
