A Mighty Wind

Presented by Wentworth-Douglass Hospital

Location: Blue Mermaid Island Grill and Tributary Brewing Co. in Kittery, Maine

In this hilarious backstage mockumentary, three eclectic, never-quite-famous folk bands come together for the first time in decades following the death of their manager to put on a reunion concert in his honor, at the request of his son. For the members of The Folksmen, The New Main Street Singers, and Mitch & Mickey, time has not been kind. As the show approaches, apprehension sets in, romances are rekindled and ambitions are permanently deferred. The all-star cast is a highlight – including Catherine O’Hara, Eugene Levy, and the indomitable Christopher Guest!

Lost Summer Drive-In Movie Series

We are bringing back the fun of drive-in movies while maintaining safe, social distancing. We are so excited to offer drive-in movie experiences at two locations – on Fridays and Saturdays at the lot shared by Blue Mermaid/Tributary Brewing Company in Kittery, Maine, and on Mondays at the beautiful location of our sponsor, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, at Pease International Tradeport.

Weekly Non-Profit Partner

Because the pandemic has challenged the community as a whole, each week Prescott Park Arts Festival will partner with another local non-profit to select some of the films and share a portion of the net proceeds. Your attendance will help not one, but two organizations!

Donation

Following Prescott Park Art Festival’s commitment to accessibility, the drive-in series is a suggested donation of $25 per car. These funds will support the cost of the series and support the festival during the challenges and restrictions of COVID-19. If that is cost-prohibitive, there is a Donate What You Can option.

Advance reservation is required.
