15th Annual Fairy House Tour

The Portsmouth Fairy House Tour is the world’s largest fairy house tour. The 15th annual event will be held in Portsmouth’s historic South End on the grounds of the Governor John Langdon House, Strawbery Banke Museum, and Prescott Park.

The Portsmouth Fairy House Tour–the world’s largest fairy house tour–takes place each fall in the historic South End Neighborhood of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. More than 250 fairy houses built by creative professionals, community members, and students will be on display on the grounds of Strawbery Banke, Historic New England’s Governor John Langdon House, and in Prescott Park.

The magical community charity event is a produced by Friends of the South End with the assistance of Canoe Harbor Consulting and all proceeds benefit the organizations, schools, and community groups who participate in the event.

Each year between 6,000 and 8,000 grandparents, parents, and children attended the Portsmouth Fairy House Tour.

Tickets are available online at www.portsmouthfairyhousetour.com and will be available in select Portsmouth retailers starting August 1, 2019.

Advanced Tickets (until Friday, Sept. 20):
$25 per family (two adults & two children OR one adult and four children)
$12 per adult
$8.00 per senior
$4.00 per child ages 3-12.

Tickets purchased on the day of the event:
$30 per family (two adults & two children OR one adult and four children)
$15.00 per adult
$10.00 per senior
$5.00 per child ages 3-12.

Tickets are good for one day.

Location

The main information/ticket booths will be located at Marcy Street across from the flagpole in Prescott Park and at the Governor John Langdon House at 143 Pleasant Street. Tour attendees can also enter through Strawbery Banke Museum entrances. Wrist bands and tour maps will be available for advance ticket purchasers only at the Prescott Park Arts Festival merchandise booth.

All Tour attendees must check in at a ticket booth or other point of entry to receive their tour maps and wristbands – tickets will not be emailed or mailed. For online purchasers, your email confirmation is your receipt and should be presented at one of the entry points.

Parking

Very limited parking is available on Peirce Island. Free parking is available on Junkins Avenue and paid street and garage parking is available throughout downtown Portsmouth. Carpooling, biking or walking is strongly encouraged.
