Spiders, Songs, and Silliness preside at Prescott Park Arts Festival 3rd KIDS Fest on Saturday, August 18

August 6, 2007

Portsmouth, NH – Get ready for another fun filled afternoon for the young and young-at-heart at Prescott Park on Saturday, August 18. Performing from 10 AM to 1 PM is Touring Actors Company, Wayne from Maine, and Mary Kaye and Professor Von Wienerschnitzel.

Touring Actors Company will be performing Charlotte's Web, an interactive musical version of the classic spider and pig story.

For over a decade Wayne from Maine has been performing and recording music for children. The Wayne From Maine show is an adventure through various musical styles designed for the young and young at heart. Audience participation is always encouraged. There's never a dull moment as Wayne inspires young minds to think and laugh with his very own brand of "Edu-Tainment".

Mary Kaye sings selections from her four CDs and performs magic and juggling acts as Professor Von Wienerschnitzel pursues his "grand experiment." (P.S. Look for a similarity between Professor Von Wienerschnitzel and the Director for PPAF’s The Sound of Music.)

Prescott Park Arts Festival does not charge an admission fee for any of its events but does rely on donations given at the gate. For this festival, the suggested donation is $5 per person.

In the event of rain, the KIDS Fest will be held on Sunday, August 19.
