Prescott Park Arts Festival Mixes it up with Gospel, Soul, and Rock & Roll

PORTSMOUTH NH – Rock My Soul meets soulful rock in Prescott Park this Wednesday July 11 at 7 PM when The Gospel Music Project shares billing with Ben Baldwin and The Big Note during a Prescott Park Arts Festival’s mid-week concert. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, grab a bite at the concessions stand, and enjoy spirited, new renditions of old songs written by gospel greats followed by Ben Baldwin’s unique brand of swing and rock-and-roll created by the likes of Fats Waller, Louie Jordan, Sam Cooke, Cole Porter, Ray Charles, and The Band.

The Prescott Park Arts Festival Mid-Week Concert Series runs every Wednesday 7 PM to 9 PM until August 15. On the schedule are All Together Now Beatles Tribute Band (7/18), TJ Wheeler (7/25), Compaq Big Band (8/1), USAF Band of Liberty – Pops (8/8), and MacTalla Mor Band (8/15).
