Prescott Park Arts Festival Kicks Off KIDS Fests and Dance Series

PORTSMOUTH NH - The first of the KIDS Fests series, Prescott Park Arts Festival's special events geared especially for children, is set for Saturday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Entertainment includes Tricky Dick's Magic Show, Ben Rudnick and Friends, and Judy Pancoast. The rain date is June 24.

KIDS Fests take place on three Saturdays during the summer from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Don't miss Toe Jam Puppet Band, Wayne from Maine and Extreme Air on July 28 (rain date, July 29) and Touring Actors Company and Wayne from Maine on August 18 (rain date August 19).

PPAF's Dance Series (Saturdays at 3 p.m.) also launches on June 23 with a performance by Community Entertainment of New Hampshire. Look for these other ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance troupes to take the stage: Seacoast Civic Dance Company, July 14; Ballet New England on July 28 and the Portsmouth School of Ballet on August 18.
