Prescott Park offers amazing opportunities for younger performers to learn their trade through professional experience and exposure.

Last summer for the first time, I worked a real job. I don't think I could have found a more welcoming environment to start than Prescott Park.

Prescott Park Arts Festival (PPAF) is one of the most exciting places to be during the summer. As a volunteer you have the opportunity to work in a beautifully landscaped park right on the Piscataqua River waterfront. Cool breezes and breathtaking views combine with the bright lights of the stage and the excitement of all who come to enjoy an afternoon or evening of live music, theatre or dance in the park.

We need volunteers year round to assist in our offices with mailings and other administrative jobs.

We have spring volunteer opportunities including:

  • Costume and props organizing
  • Set construction/ carpentry assistance

Summer season (June 27 to August 24) jobs include:

  • Site set up and take down
  • Ground maintenance
  • Preparing materials for gate distribution
  • Raffle ticket set up and sales
  • Assisting in the merchandise booth

We also offer many fall event related volunteer opportunities at our Chowder Festival (June 7), Fairy House Tours (September 20 and 21) and Chili Cook Off (October 4).

Please contact us at 603.436.2848 to find out how you can volunteer to help!
