We are proud to announce that Fishtival 2013 has the opportunity to distribute event proceeds (grants range from $200 to $1,500) to an event, cause, campaign or organization that helps further the mission, vision and values of the New Hampshire Fish and Lobster Festival, increasing
public support of our small-boat local fishing industry in 2014.
To apply or nominate a project for an award, please in just one page:
1. Tell us the name of the nominee and its mission.
2. Describe the proposed project, timeline, and purpose for the funds.
3. Explain how the outcomes relate to Fishtival's mission and increase public support of our small-boat local fishing industry.
Be sure to include the nominee's contact person, title, phone, website, and email. Submit your nominations by March 15 to email@example.com. All grants will be awarded by April 1.

Seafood samplings from renowned local chefs - $4
Walk the decks of a local fishing boat, taste freshly-landed local seafood prepared by Seacoast chefs, learn to identify and prepare local fish, watch an on-location Seafood Throwdown cook-off competition, investigate the Gulf of Maine ecosystem, sing a song and hear a tale or two.
Along the historic waterfront in Prescott Park, right beside the NH commercial fishing pier, it's a great event for all ages with games, live music, demos, foul-weather gear, a fish relay race, trap building, fish printing, touch tanks, and so much more.

Otherwise known as the "Fishtival," this unique and highly interactive event draws thousands of visitors each year to celebrate 18 miles and 400 years of NH fishing communities and traditions.

This celebration has the support of the City of Portsmouth and NH Division of Ports and Harbors, along with several leading food organizations, businesses, non-profits and community leaders -- many of whom are actively supporting this exciting event.
