Three extraordinary voices, two founding singer-songwriters, one
singular vision: The Wailin' Jennys continue to evolve into far
more than the melodious sum of their individual talents five years
after blowing in on a fresh acoustic breeze from Canada's mid-western
heartland. This incredible band was won a JUNO Award (Canadas
Grammy) and captivates audiences with intuitive harmonies, engaging
stage presence and uplifting repertoire.

Four short years ago, a green card was an immigration document
- now The Greencards are an acoustic music phenomenon that has played
around the world, headlined major festivals, won awards, and toured
with Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson. Carol Young plays bass and sings
most of the songs; Kym Warner picks the mandolin and bouzouki, while
Eamon McLoughlin plays fiddle and viola. The most conspicuous thing
they have in common is that they aint American.
McLoughlin is English. Warner and Young are Australians. But all
three grew up in households full of honest American roots music
- Merle, Lefty, Ricky, Dolly, Loretta to name a few. Honing their
talents at jam sessions and gigs in their homelands they eventually
took the bold step of moving to the States to find their musical
home.

This hot young alternative bluegrass group is on a mission to bend
the boundaries of traditional music. The unlikely combination of
banjo, cello, and double-bass drives this low lonesome band, whose
captivating vocals and high-wire solos have enraptured audiences
all over North America and Ireland since 2001.

The John Jorgenson Quintet features guitarist John Jorgenson,
a founding member of the Desert Rose Band, the Hellecasters, and
six-year member of Elton John's band. At a John Jorgenson Quintet
performance, audiences are amazed by John's dazzling guitar work
as well as his mastery as a clarinet player and vocalist. Whether
playing his own accessible compositions or classic standards, John
and his band make music that is equally romantic and ecstatic, played
with virtuosity and soul. John Jorgenson is known as one of the
pioneers of the American gypsy jazz movement. He has performed as
a solo artist as well as collaborated with other musicians all over
the world.
