The Seacoast Civic Dance Company (SCDC) is comprised of auditioned
dancers ranging in age from 12-18 years old. Founded in 1976 by NHAPA
directors, the SCDC was established as a 501 © (3) non-profit,
educational organization geared towards providing a high-level of
dance education coupled with professional performance opportunities.
Company and Performance Group members are skilled and trained in a
diverse curriculum of classes at NHAPA including, classical ballet,
lyrical, tap, jazz and hip-hop.

Portsmouth School of Ballet is dedicated to professional
instruction with one-on-one attention. The program's focus in on
Ballet Technique and the development of technical skills for each
student. The school's Ballet program is based on a Vaganova syllabus.
The school's faculty consists of professionals with extensive performing
dance backgrounds as well as college degrees in Dance Education.
Classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, modern, and street
funk.

Southern NH Youth Ballet is the affiliate performing
company for Southern NH Dance Theater. The company serves as a training
ground for local youths and pre-professional students by providing
them with intensive training, individual coaching, performing opportunities,
and exposure to master classes from various guest artists. Southern
New Hampshire Youth Ballet, Inc. is a nonprofit organization. It
is organized to act as a performing group, with the intent of promoting
and encouraging the knowledge and appreciation of ballet and other
dance forms through performance and education. This company will
be performing "Fairy Houses – The Ballet".
