Now is your chance. Prescott Park Arts Festival has multiple employment opportunities available.

Seasonal Positions:

Business Manager Internship***Position open Immediately***

As a Festival Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and apply the skills necessary to produce a summer music and theatre festival. The intern will support and work closely with both the General Manager, Executive Director, and full production staff in overseeing day-to-day operation of the festival. Specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, the creation and dissemination of communication between staff, cast, and technical crew; managing logistics for concerts and productions; assisting marketing efforts; coordination of membership programs; assisting with facilities-related issues and logistics; and serving as on-duty staff in the Operations Office. The Festival Intern will gain firsthand knowledge of festival production by the end of the season.

Requirements: Applicants should have a hard-working, "can-do" attitude, strong interpersonal communication skills, and exhibit a high capacity for problem-solving and leadership. Applicants should be friendly, detail-oriented and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and exhilarating environment.

Immediate and May-August positions available. This internship is unpaid.


Sound Intern

As a Sound Intern, you will be exposed to the many concepts, tasks and techniques that are applied toward the successful operation of an outdoor festival including musical theatre productions, music concerts, and multi-act music festivals. The Intern will work with resident and guest professional staff members during the season and gain a full and complete knowledge of the industry and learn the various aspects of sound design, ranging from recorded music and effects, to the mixing of vocals and sound during a performance.

Concessions
Working in concessions is a team effort and everyone participates in cooking, serving, stocking, inventory and cleaning. People with an interest in restaurant and food service, sales, or having a great paid summer experience would enjoy this job.

Qualifications Include:
Able to serve concessions food in a fast-paced environment
Able to work a register, handle money, and make change.
Friendly helpful demeanor with coworkers and customers.
Punctual and dedicated.
Grace under pressure.
Able to handle different personalities.


Gatekeepers
Collect gate money, (we operate on donations only), and sell raffle tickets at intermission. People with an interest in events, sales, marketing, performing and fundraising would enjoy this job.

Qualifications Include:
Able to handle money and make change.
Punctual and dedicated.
Grace under pressure.
Able to handle different personalities without getting flustered.
Friendly and helpful toward patrons and staff members.
Able to ask for donations in a pleasant/ non imposing manner.
